A panel on “Why Renewable Energy” was held within the scope of Sust’INO (Sustainable and Renewable Energy), which is a year-long project with the contributions of IYTE Innovation Community.

Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alper Baba, academicians and students attended. The role and importance of renewable energy in the panel, the difference from other energy sources, Turkey and shared information about the use of the world. In the panel where experts in their field made presentations on different topics such as projects carried out to spread clean energy and shape the future, companies from the sector also set up stands. Company representatives gave tips to future engineer and scientist candidates for the right career planning.

Speaking at the panel, Rector Baran congratulated the students for successfully organizing such an important event. Stating that the Sust’INO (Sustainable and Renewable Energy) Panel is very meaningful, Rector Baran said, “This World is entrusted to us by future generations, we need to think more about energy, work and produce projects for a more livable world.” .

Experienced names from public institutions and organizations, as well as the private sector, gave speeches to the panel held at IYTE Performance Center. The panel, which lasted all day, ended with a question and answer session.
